Great Wave Patchwork Haori in Teal

Two panels, two moods: one side of this patchwork haori is solid teal with white katakana, the other a Great Wave print. Cut loose with three-quarter sleeves, it is a unisex kimono cardigan that looks different depending on which side people see first.

The design

The wave panel references Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa, Japan's most famous woodblock print, while the katakana, the angular Japanese script often used for emphasis and foreign words, gives the plain side a graphic, modern edge. How to wear it
