Size guide — Asian sizing runs small
A heavier, reversible haori jacket with pockets: the kimono silhouette built for colder weather. Wear it as an overshirt over a tee or as a light coat on crisp days, then flip it to change the look.
The design
This jacket borrows from two Japanese traditions: the haori, the wide-sleeved jacket worn over kimono, and the noragi, a sturdy work jacket once worn by farmers. The result is practical, with pockets, tie closures and a weightier feel, but it keeps the clean, crossed-front lines that make Japanese outerwear so distinctive. We explain the difference in noragi vs haori.

How to wear it
Layer it over a hoodie from our Japanese hoodies in winter, or over a plain tee with chinos in spring. The blue side pairs well with denim; the black side looks sharp with gray trousers. Find more layers in haori and kimono jackets.
